Over five years of experience at local animal shelters & rescues in various roles—including paid experience as a dog training & behavior coordinator, veterinary technician, and animal care attendant.

Volunteer therapy dog handler since May 2023, having current memberships held in good standing with two certifying support organizations.

Indy

Indy was born in March 2018, I adopted her from a rescue organization in southern Maryland at an estimated twelve weeks old. She is a mix of many breeds that likely include: Australian Cattle Dog, Boxer, Bluetick Coonhound, Husky, and Norwegian Elkhound. Indy enjoys working as a therapy dog, and making visits to local schools and hospitals—providing people with the comfort of animal companionship and entertaining with her many tricks!

Sadie Jane

Sadie Jane was born in January 2024, I adopted her from a rescue organization based in northeast Maryland at an estimated fourteen weeks old. She is a mix of many breeds that likely include: Doberman, Labrador Retriever, Rottweiler, and Catahoula Leopard Dog. Sadie Jane is still in training and hopes to become a successful therapy dog like her big sister. Sadie passed her first therapy dog testing in July 2025, at just a little over one and a half years old!
